It is not just a college ranking or a famous city that determines your college choices. Look at the academic curriculum on the college website and see if you like it. Look at the city or town you will be living in for the next four years and see if it will be a good fit for you. Look at %s of in-state and out-state students or %s of international students…is this important to you? Cold weather of warm weather? Small town or city? Make sure that the ranking of a school is not the only determining factor in your admission decision.

Good evening and Happy Easter week.

I wanted to let you know that Ryan has received his first scholarship offer.  Purdue has offered him a $39,000 scholarship for the first year, renewable for the 4 years if he maintains a 3.0 GPA.  The total cost of their program including room and board, books, tuition, etc… is $44,000 a year.  So this is awesome.

We should be hearing back from others in the next week or two.  I just thought you would like to know since you have had a huge part in this.
